Our programmes
Inclusive Early Childhood Education
Early learning where every child belongs, whatever their ability.
About this programme
Inclusive Early Childhood Education
Every child matters and deserves to belong and participate in all aspects of life. Our inclusive early childhood education work opens the door to learning for children with special needs, in settings that welcome them.
The early years shape a child's confidence, communication and curiosity. By supporting learning from the start, and by working with the teachers and families around each child, we help children build the foundations they need to take full part in family and community life.
What it involves
- Early learning that welcomes children of all abilities
- Support for teachers and educators so every learner can be included
- Early intervention to respond to each child's needs as early as possible
- Working with parents and caregivers as partners in a child's learning
Who it helps
- Children with special needs
- Teachers and educators
- Local communities
Every child matters. Every mother matters. Every life matters.
