About this programme
Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns
Stigma and lack of awareness keep too many children and mothers on the margins. Through advocacy and awareness campaigns we work to change attitudes and promote the full participation of people with disabilities in everyday life.
Advocacy is a responsibility we share with families, schools, leaders and neighbours. Every conversation that replaces fear with understanding makes our communities more inclusive.
What it involves
- Awareness campaigns that challenge stigma
- Speaking up for the rights and recognition of children with special needs
- Promoting the full participation of people with disabilities
- Encouraging communities to listen, include and act
Who it helps
- Local communities
- Children with special needs
- Mothers and caregivers
Every child matters. Every mother matters. Every life matters.
